Clay Township Fire and Rescue  (CTFR) is a non-profit organization of 15 volunteer emergency responders that serves Clay Township, as well as is on call to support Marion and Mahaska Counties. CTFR responds to an average of 16 fire calls and 50 EMS calls per year. The funds will be used toward their fundraiser to purchase new SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses) that firefighters use when entering a fire scene.
